Christmas Giveaway

The Cowboy's Christmas Miracle
Raeanne Thayne

Christmas was tough for widow Jenna Wheeler and her four children. But even though she'd sold part of her family's land to make ends meet, she was determined to spin the holiday into the stuff of magic-no matter what it took. Now if she could only find a job....

Maybe her new landlord could oblige-gorgeous, child-averse Carson McRaven. He needed a chef, and he knew the lovely Jenna could do a bang-up job-if she could keep her brood out of his hair. But as he found himself catapulted into the cheerful chaos of her family...not to mention Jenna's arms...he learned more about the spirit of Christmas than he'd ever dreamed.

Now who doesn't like a Christmas giveaway since it is the season of giving. I have 2 copies I am ready to send out.

Loving novellas in Unbound

A great set of short stories from some of my favorite authors in the recent release Unbound. Some are add-ons to great series or new characters being introduced.

One of my favorite character in Kim Harrison's The Hollows series is Jenks. He is a fierce, loyal pixy who is asked to help a fellow pixy who is having trouble with a statue in his garden. I liked how protective Jenks is of his Mattie and all 47 of his children. I also love that Bis played his backup.

Melissa Marr starts a new story line with a mostly human Eve, who does not want to follow her family business of sex and death usually together. Her grandmama, Nxy, does everything in her power to persuade her stubborn granddaughter to give in to her nature. She even hires a very tempting.

So last week I read Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series and fell in love, so I loved this prequel to the Cat and Bones relationship. This novella is all about the british hottie Bones doing a job in New Orleans.

Another prequel in the book was from Jocelynn Drake's Nightwalker series. Myra is governing her domain, Savannah. A nightwalker is murdered during the day hours, a human is killed, and Myra's almost near-death experiences makes Myra a very busy vamp.

Jeanine Frost's Halfway to the Grave

Halfway to the Grave
Jeanine Frost

Flirting With the Grave....

Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that ones of these deadbeats is her father- the one responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unlikely partnership.

In exchange for help finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her batttle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner-are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn't have to be all bad. But before she can enjoy her status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side...and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.

This was Book One in the Night Huntress series and I am already hooked to the entire series. We met Cat kills vampires and Bones who hunts down vampires for money, they are perfect for eachother. Cat is one fiesty chick and Bones is one sexy English vamp.

Bones is my new favorite sexy undead. I love his vocabulary with mate, blimey, and luv. I think it is too hot that Bones calls her kitten and pet. Its a nice play on her name. I also love the protectiveness and jealously of other guys he has over Cat.

Here is a nice Teaser

"Playing with fire, Kitten?"

His mouth grazed my cheek. His lips were cool against my skin. My head spun, my senses reeled, and my tongue crept out and licked his neck.

The shudder went all through him. Bones pressed me so close that his body ground into mine, jerking my head back with a thick handful of hair until our eyes locked. What had started out as a game was now an open challenge, as well as a direct threat.

All of this should have frightened me, but it was as if my mind were incapable of rational though. He was a vampire, a hit man, and had almost killed me....and nothing mattered more than the feel of him.

I licked my lips and didn't pull away.

It was all the invitation he needed.

This is the third book in Molly's series of Jane Jameson. The first two books Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs and Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men are hilarious and this is to be just as funny.

Nothing sucks the romance out of world travel like a boyfriend who may not have broken up with you in a hotel room in Brussels. Jane Jameson's sexy sire Gabriel has always been unpredictable, but the seductive, anonymous notes that await him at each stop of their international vacation, coupled with his evasive behavior over the past few months, finally push Jane ontho the next flight home to Half Moon Hollow--alone, upset, and unsure whether Gabriel just ended their relationship without actually telling her.

Those interested in the fate of Fairview's police detective, Conall "Mac" Macmillan, will have all their questions answered.

Fallen
Lauren Kate
Releases Dec 8, 2009

There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori. Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword and Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce--and goes out of his way to make that very clear--she can't let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret...even if it kills her.
Dangerously excited and darkly romantic, Fallen is a page turning thriller and the ultimate love story.
