Chloe Neill's Twice Bitten Blog Tour Q&A's & Giveaway

I am so happy to have Chloe Neill here today as her part Blog Tour to celebrate her newest release of her Twice Bitten which is the third book in Chloe’s Chicagoland Vampires Series. She is giving away a signed copy of Twice Bitten. If you have yet to enjoy this fabulous series then you are missing out. Some Girls Bite and Friday Night Bites are the first two in the series.

Could you start things off by telling us a little about Chicagoland Vampires Series?

Sure. In the Chicagoland Vampires series, we meet Merit, a 27 year-old graduate student who's just been turned into a vampire. She learns that she's expected to become a vampire warrioress, and that there's an entire world of magic and supernatural creatures in the city of Chicago.

If you could change places with one character from your book, who would it be and why?

Probably Merit, the heroine. She has the opportunity to prove that she is more than meets the eye, which is a very appealing opportunity. :)

Do you have a favorite scene or line from Twice Bitten?

I do. My favorite line is this one: "Always remember," he whispered to me, "that you are an uncommon soldier, whatever they say. And you are quite a thing to behold."

I LOVE that line. :)

Mallory is Merit’s sorcerer best friend, Lindsay is her vampire best friend. It there a chance Fallon will become Merit’s shifter best friend?

I can't say for sure, as that would be a spoiler, but I do hope to include more Fallon in future novels.

We learn Merit’s first name in Twice Bitten, and I have to say I thought it would be worse. Do we ever find out why she doesn’t go by it?

Merit gives readers clues to why she goes by her last name in both Some Girls Bite and Friday Night Bites. It's not because the name is unattractive, but because of what it symbolizes. And, yes, I hope she'll have a chance to reveal why she goes by Merit in a future book.

I always enjoy reading short stories from my favorite series that come out in Anthologies with a bunch of different authors. If you could write a particular short story about in Chicagoland Vampires whose POV would you write from?

I would probably write from Mallory's perspective, as I think her magic shenanigans would probably be pretty entertaining. Jeff would also make a great POV, as would Lindsey.

Do you have a current project you’re working on or something you plan to begin soon?

I'm working on the edits for HEXBOUND, the second novel in my Dark Elite series, which will be released in January 2011. I'm also writing the fourth book in the Chicagoland Vampires series, which will be released in July 2011.

Thank you so much Chloe for joining me today. I can’t wait until next July for more of Merit. I did really enjoy the end of Twice Bitten so thanks for that.
